About

It Started In 1999
In 1999, at 21 years old, my husband and I opened the doors to a small brick-and-mortar boutique in the northern coastal town of Manistee, Michigan — tucked along the shores of Lake Michigan.
What I didn’t know then was that I was beginning a 26-year education in women, style, and trust. I simply knew I loved helping women feel confident.
What 26 Years Teaches You
Over the years, I’ve watched thousands of women step in front of a mirror.
And here’s what I’ve learned:
Most women don’t need more clothes.
They need better ones.
They need pieces that fit beautifully.
That move with their lives.
That feel modern without feeling loud.
That earn their place in the closet year after year.
That philosophy has shaped everything I do.
Why I Finally Went Online
For years, customers asked when I would open an online shop. I hesitated.
Because in-person styling feels irreplaceable. There’s something powerful about standing beside someone and helping her see what works.
But eventually I realized something: If I couldn’t be beside every dressing room, I could still do the editing.
And that’s how The Lively Collective was born.
The Lively Collective is built around well-tailored, quality pieces that elevate your wardrobe without overwhelming it.
Every item is hand-selected.
If it doesn’t meet the standard — fit, fabric, longevity — it doesn’t make it.
I don’t buy to fill racks.
I don’t chase every trend.
And I don’t believe in clothing that feels disposable.
I believe in timeless styling.
In buying less — and wearing more.
If You're Here
You’re likely a woman with a full life.
You don’t have time to guess.
You don’t want to waste money.
You want to feel put-together without feeling overdone.
If that’s you, you’re exactly who I built this for.
When you shop The Lively Collective, you’re not just buying a piece of clothing.
You’re buying 26 years of experience, discernment, and care.
And I don’t take that lightly.
